BG&E Engineering – Collins Street, Melbourne
We were approached by the team at BG&E to Project Manage the fitout of their new Melbourne Head Office, in the heart of the CBD, at 367 Collins Street. With 1126sqm of floorspace to fitout, the design focused on utelising the amazing panoramic views on Level 28.
From June to December, we worked with the appointed project team to complete the design and documentation of the fitout, in readiness for the landlord handover in December 2022.
In addition, we negotiated a reduced handover condition from the Landlord to enable BG&E to take possession of the site earlier. The site was handed over to BG&E in late December 2022 and the fitout construction commenced on the 11 January 2023. The construction period was a short 3 months, which required daily dialogue, twice weekly site meetings and team collaboration to meet our BG&E Practical Completion date.
A huge effort by all involved and we managed to handover an amazing office space incorporating of, 101 workstations, a wellness room, multiple breakout and meeting areas, end of trip facilities and a custom designed kitchen and table tennis area.
